Performance Psychology in Medicine
Saturday 24th June 2017
Perrin Lecture Theatre - The Blizard Institute - London
Performance Psychology is a field focussed on facilitating peak performance under pressure. Practitioners help performers understand their own behaviours, and provide interventions to help them deliver 100% of their potential when it counts.
The London Performance Psychology in Medicine Symposium is a new event for clinicians and other people active in the world of high-performance. In our first year, it will be a single-track event, with an evening reception including stand-up lightening presentations.
As a community of practice, we recognise that clinical innovations are only as effective as the people doing the work. We think that we can bring tangible benefits to our patients by understanding how bring the best out of ourselves.
We have invited expert speakers to share their answers to the important questions in performance psychology:
- What I do
- Why it works
- How I study it
We hope that you will leave with new strategies to use in your own practice. You will also find a room of like-minded colleagues and future collaborators!
If you are looking for accommodation we have negotiated special rates for Symposium delegates. We would encourage you to book as early as possible to avoid missing out on the discounted rates.
Holiday Inn, Whitechapel is located on Commercial Road which is just a few minutes walk to the Perrin Lecture Theatre - see link to map below.
